| Inability to orgasm? |

I don't know if it's just me but since having implanon I've noticed a decrease in my ability to orgasm. It's driving me NUTS! I've been with my husband now for 4 years, and never have I had a problem with this on other birth controls or before birth control altogether. He ALWAYS got me to the finish point every single time. Now I haven't in over 2 months. I tried googling to no avail. Is this a common side effect or even a possible side effect? I don't think it's a lack of vaginal lubrication because I'm wet for the better part of the day and during sex. I'm at my wits end, I love the convenience of this method and the duration but if this means not being able to fully enjoy sex for the next 2 years then I'm going to consider having it removed. Please help! |

I was told that it could reduce the libido, but it sounds like your libido is still there, you're just not finishing. Can you bring yourself to orgasm at all?
I have similar problems, although maybe worse(?) with Implanon (and Nuvaring)...
It's difficult for me to get wet, even when turned on, and orgasming is tricky and takes forever now! I've just been sort of dealing with it for the past year, but it's just so frustrating; sometimes I want to cry... Alongside all the other problems I've had with Implanon (never ending period ;__;), I really wish I'd never tried it...
I couldn't orgasm AT ALL when I was on antidepressants and implanon, so I'm guessing my body is really easily influenced by medications. -__-''
I dunno, that's my experience. I've 'heard' that it's a common problem, but I don't know for sure!
I an totally relate to you inability to orgasm because I rarely get the desire to have sex anymore. I have had mine for 5 months.
I agree with you on this matter because my feonsay is haveing the same trouble right now for the past year and some months she has trouble orgasaming when we have sex and she is dry almost most of the time as to before she got this implantion in she was wet and moist most of the time not only that but she now has iregular peiods and sometimes not at all she has also gaind back over 100 pounds since she has started this and now wieghs over 300 pounds as to before she only weighed 195 and was loseing weight to fit into her wedding dress but we now have to wait until she gets back down to fit her into it and we had to posspone the weding until god only know when
